Welcome Welcome

Season’s Greetings

After a whirlwind series of launches across Tasmania kicking off at the Theatre Royal on the 25th of November and then on to Launceston, Devonport, Burnie, Queenstown and Swansea, the programme is well and truly out.

Composer Ross Bolleter has been combing the islands for our ruined pianos including a visit to King Island and the Tamar Valley which revealed one in a farmhouse shed at Clarence Point, complete with possum skeleton remains and wallpaper remnants!

Make sure you have your brochure packed with your other holiday reading. I recommend working your way through the short listed books for the Tasmanian Book Prizes or tackle the whole 80 entries. So while you contemplate whether to have another oyster or a glass of festive bubbles, spend some quality time to plan your ten days experience and get on to buying tickets at your leisure online: www.tendaysontheisland.com
